Benjamin A. Harding, CLU®, CFP®, ChFC®
Co-Founder

Ben grew up in Freeport, Maine and currently resides in Winchester, Massachusetts with his wife, Kimberly. Ben’s favorite thing is spending time with his daughter Camille! Ben enjoys downhill skiing and spending time on the ocean in Maine. Ben went to college at the University of Miami and majored in Marketing and Management. Ben also loves spending time doing anything with his friends, and traveling around the world to visit with them!

Ben has earned degrees as a Chartered Life Underwriter®, Chartered Financial Consultant®, and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM ;he has been in the insurance and financial services industry since 2002. Ben focuses in working with owners of small businesses and executives on Fee Based Comprehensive Financial Planning1. Ben helps his clients gain focus on what is most important to them; create a plan to help achieve and protect these goals; and then execute and monitor them over many years. Ben frequently works with small closely held businesses on their succession and exit strategies as well. Ben has been a qualifier annually since 2003 to the Million Dollar Round Table2, and has been a mentor to many agents in helping them achieve membership to the organization. He served as Chair of the Young Professional Alliance of Boston for two years, and in 2012/ 2013 served as the President for the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Ben has been a featured speaker at the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, Annual Meeting for the Million Dollar Round Table, and also at the New Hampshire NAIFA Sales Conference. Ben also serves as the Political Involvement Leader to the Boston General Office of New York Life.

Kimberly A. Harding, CFP®, CLU®, CLTC®
Co-Founder

Kim was raised in Walpole, Massachusetts and currently resides with her husband Ben, and daughter Camille in Winchester, Massachusetts. She is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. Kim enjoys traveling, skiing, running, cooking, endless fun with family and friends, dance parties, Boston sports, and Virginia Tech football- Go Hokies! Kim’s ideal day is doing anything and everything with Camille, Ben, and their extended family.

Kim has earned degrees as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, Chartered Life Underwriter® and Certified in Long-Term Care, and has been in the financial services and insurance industry since 2003. Kim primarily works with people approaching and in retirement on their comprehensive financial planning1. Kim helps her clients gain perspective of their most important aspirations; creates a plan to help achieve and protect their goals; and then executes and monitors their plan over the course of their journey. Kim also focuses in the areas of Estate and Long Term Care Insurance planning and helps these individuals find creative solutions to protect their lifestyle in retirement, and efficiently handle extended care needs. Kim is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Round Table2 and of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Kim is also a board member of Life Happens and was a featured speaker for the Million Dollar Round Table annual meeting. Kim has been a Chairman’s Council Qualifier annually since 2013 for New York Life and is a Political Involvement Leader for the Boston General office.

Robert Doherty, CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®
Partner

Robert Doherty grew up in Woburn, Massachusetts and still resides in the city with his wife Kayla, daughter Rowan, and dog Chloe (chocolate lab). Robert is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. He coaches Woburn Youth wrestling and is also the director of Woburn Youth Wrestling Corp. Rob enjoys hiking, coaching, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Robert Doherty has worked in the financial services industry since 2008. Robert focuses in wealth accumulation and retirement planning. He has a passion for working with pre-retirees who are within 10 years of full retirement. Robert is the former chairman of the Boston General office community council, he is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and has been a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table2 in 2013, 2014, 2015.

Matthew S. Angel
Partner

Matt Angel is a New England Patriots Fan who also offers Investment Advisory Services1. He resides in Plymouth with his wife, Kathryn and his son, Thomas. He studied Finance and Economics at Stonehill College in Easton, MA and first worked with Fidelity and JPMorgan. In his free time, Matt loves to travel, golf, and play basketball and lacrosse. He is dreading the day that Tom Brady and Bill Belichick retire, unless of course they become his clients.

Matt joined Harding Financial in 2010. He focuses in helping families and retirees formulate, and reach, their financial goals using a comprehensive plan. He has been a member of the financial industry’s Million Dollar Round Table2 since 2014 and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors since 2011. Matt was a New York Life Executive Council qualifier from 2010-2016 and a President’s Council qualifier in 2017.

Christopher Donovan
Financial Advisor

Chris grew up in Abington and currently resides in Winchendon, Massachusetts with his wife, Abby. Chris graduated from Union College (NY) where he majored in Economics and was a member of the baseball team. He previously worked for Ayco, a Goldman Sachs Company, in upstate New York where he enjoyed learning about the industry, gaining experience, and developing strong relationships with clients. Chris is involved in his community by coaching a travel baseball team out of Brockton, Massachusetts and volunteering at his high school alma mater, Boston College High School. Chris loves spending time with family and friends, playing basketball, and golf.

Chris has been in the insurance and financial services industry since 2015. He focuses on working with young families and small businesses, helping them formulate and reach their financial goals using a strategy towards their needs. Chris also enjoys working with municipal employees, especially those in public education and law enforcement. Since 2020, Chris has been a New York Life Executive Council* qualifier and a qualifying member of the financial industry's Million Dollar Round Table2.

Lauren Kupris
Director of Client Management

Lauren was raised and resides in Woburn, Massachusetts with her family. She enjoys concerts, traveling, working out, spending time laughing with friends and family, and summers in Maine. Lauren loves to whoop it up!! She’s addicted to pizza, diet-pepsi and reality TV.

Lauren Kupris has worked with Harding Financial and Insurance since 2008 and is the Director of Client Management. She is in charge of client implementation, account processing and office management. As a licensed service assistant, Lauren provides exceptional customer service to all clients of Harding Financial and Insurance. It is vital to Lauren to ensure she makes every client feel like they are part of our family and that they are always taken care of!

Marcos Navarro
Agent

Marcos Navarro was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to the United States when he was 8 years old. Marcos studied Criminal Justice at Bay State College and proceeded to study Accounting at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Accustomed to hot tropical weather, his move to Boston took some getting used to. In his free time, Marcos loves to explore new restaurants in the Greater Boston area. He also organizes an annual camping trip with his family which is now a family tradition going back 10 years. Grateful for an amazing family and group of friends, Marcos makes sure to spend as much time with them as possible, in the city he calls home, Boston. Passionate about data and helping others and with the encouragement of family and friends, he pursued a career in financial services.

Marcos Navarro joined Harding Financial and Insurance in 2015 as a Case Analyst. In this role he assisted in the financial planning process tailored to each individual's needs and goals, as well as assisting in the preparation of client meetings. Marcos is currently transitioning to an Agent role.

Nonso Okeke
Case Analyst

Nonso Okeke was raised and resides in Salem, New Hampshire. Nonso graduated from Bentley University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. Nonso enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing sports, watching the Patriots and the Yankees, volunteering and helping others, and eating anything with buffalo chicken!

Nonso joined Harding Financial and Insurance in September 2017 as a Case Analyst.  He assists in the financial operational and administrative process which is tailored to each individual’s needs and goals as well as assisting in the preparation of client meetings.

Kelly Sullivan
Client Service Associate

Kelly grew up on the border of VT/NH where her family is still located, and then spent 7 years living on Martha’s Vineyard, before moving to Billerica two years ago, where she currently resides. Kelly has a master's degree in music, as well as a background in finance, loves to take photos (especially of nature), and enjoys playing and watching sports, reading, and learning/experiencing new things, especially through travel.

Doreen Comeau
Client Service Associate

Doreen was raised in Saugus and lives in Wakefield, Massachusetts with her family.  She enjoys exploring new and different restaurants, weekend camping trips, working in her garden, traveling, and quilting. Doreen worked in the financial services industry for over 12 years before joining Harding Financial in July, 2018 as a Client Service Associate.   She strives to provide quick and outstanding service to clients.

Melanie Harizanov
Client Service Associate

Mel graduated from Suffolk University in 2019 where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Advertising. During her undergraduate studies she interned at O’Neill and Associates focusing on administration, advertising, and public relations work. She worked in the financial industry for two years prior to joining Harding Financial where she provided administration and client service.

Bilingual in English and Portuguese, she has spent many summers travelling to Brazil. Mel enjoys going to the theater, watching documentaries, and spending time with friends and family. She just welcomed her first child, Violet, early August of 2021.

Delia Brimmer
Financial Advisor

Delia Brimmer grew up in Simsbury, CT a small town just north of Hartford. She began her career at New York Life in Waltham, MA after graduating summa cum laude from Fisher College where she double majored in Business Management and Accounting. Delia was a member of the honor's program and earned a place on the Dean’s List each semester while she was a 3-sport college athlete. Since beginning her career in 2013, Delia has been a qualifying member of New York Life’s President’s Council* as well as a qualifying member of the International Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)2.

Delia lives in Needham, MA with her rescue dog Rigid. In her free time, she (and Rigid) enjoy boating, skiing, section hiking the Appalachian Trail and traveling. So far, Delia's favorite destinations have been Burma, Vietnam and Cuba. Rigid's favorite destination, however, will always be Block Island, RI.

Delia spearheads New York Life's Boston office involvement with Read to a Child. She became involved with the organization shortly after beginning her career and it has since become something she is very passionate about. Read to a Child is a national mentoring non-profit that improves literacy skills and supports students from under-resourced communities by partnering with volunteer mentors who read one-on-one to elementary students. Delia has also been on the Financial Board of Advisors for her alma mater since 2014 in addition to donating her time to the college through speaking engagements, working with the career services office, alumni office and more.
